	Embracing Pines is located less than five miles from the picturesque Leech Lake, which offers opportunities for swimming, boating, fishing, skiing, sailing...or simply drifting to wherever the lake's waves take you. There are nearby trails for biking, cross-country skiing, snowmobiling...or for taking leisurely walks to discover the flora and fauna. You'll catch glimpses of birds of every size and color, from the Great American Bald Eagle to the Ruby-Throated Hummingbird, who beckon us with their calls. Nearby sites, from the famous Itasca State Park, Moondance Ranch, and the Northern Lights and Palace Casinos, offer something for everyone. Other sports and activities include shopping, antiquing, bird watching, boating and fishing. You can also take a visit to Reed's Sporting Goods or Forestedge Winery.
